Went to Rockland for the first time and just happened to go into this restaurant on Saturday afternoon. The waitress was excellent. The fisherman`s platter was the best ever. The fried haddock dinner was perfect. Went back today and the waiter was wonderful. The fried scallop basket was just GREAT.

My husband and I visited the cafe during our vacation week the third week in August. We both ordered the lobster rolls. Each of our meals was hot, delicious, and included a nice serving of french fries! While there, I must have dropped my license. And to my relief, the wonderful folks at the Rockland Cafe sent my license to me!! This is what life in Maine is all about; people doing good deeds just because that is the way life should be lived!! Wonderful meal! Great welcoming atmosphere and amazingly enjoyable food!!!! Our server DP was a great server and his personality was welcoming and fun. We will definitely stop back before we head back to Pittsburgh.

We loved the lobster stew so much that we went back the next day and ate the seafood chowder....gOOd Gawd almighty it sUre was gOOd....I want some more...but have to go back home to Georgia.
